As I pack and get ready to leave for New Orleans, I am more than excited to start this amazing experience. The 9th Ward suffered the worst from Hurricane Katrina and I am a little nervous to still see the amount of damage that this tragic event has left. Leading up to the trip, I have been thinking about the relationships and the time I will be spending with the bonner group. I am looking forward  to deepen relationships and become closer with with everyone in bonner. I believe that this trip will long lasting memories with this group of amazing people.
My nervousness and excitement together will be shared and subdued by these individuals through every way possible. They will share the highs and low of this trip and I cannot wait to go have an awesome experience. As for the trip itself, I am elated to travel southern Louisiana and enjoy their diverse culture. Also, I am ready to  to help a group of citizens that have lost everything through the bonner program and I have a great experience in NOLA.
