On the way to NoLa....

Today we will arrive in New Orleans. The road trip has been pretty interesting, even though it's long it's also cool to see a new part of the country. It is also fun to see the transition from where we live to New Orleans. I think the most notable changes I've noticed are an increased presence of Waffle Houses, southern accents, and increased temperatures. The Shenandoah hills that we passed through were very beautiful. I heard that traveling was supposed to be squished, but I got lucky and have a whole seat to myself (which I trade off with others) so I'm very comfortable. I'm excited to visit New Orleans and just see this part of the country, it is not something I thought I would do any time soon.
