NOLA or Bust!

As I count down the hour(s) before departing for New Orleans, I can't help but feel nervous and excited. I have never been to the great state of Louisiana before, let alone to build a house! I am really excited to compare the rebuild after Hurricane Katrina to the rebuild in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy, where my grandparent's house was damaged. I am excited to use the skills I learned from rebuilding my grandparent's house after the 2012 hurricane and use them towards rebuilding our house in NOLA. I cannot wait to get my hands dirty to help another family in need finally make it back home. 

I am also very excited to immerse myself in the New Orleans music, amazing food, and making and strengthening friendships with my fellow Bonners along the way!
