For some reason my original post on Thursday did not go through but I don't mind since I had it in a word document.
In Bonner we help those in need daily and this week we will expand and help rebuild a city that was left in shambles. We may not be able to completely transform New Orleans but we can change the lives those whose house we are rebuilding this week. I am excited to learn new skills are I have never worked on a house before and it'll help me in the real world. I've never been to the Deep South before so seeing the most important city in it will be an amazing way to dive into Southern/Cajun culture. Particularly I'm excited to try some Cajun food. If I had one request to the Bonner staff it would be to meet the people that I'm helping because that will make me feel complete.
